Each week, <Race to the MVP>, the blog series on NBA.com, brings fresh cool viewpoints about any players that could be nominated for MVP of 2008.

This blog series is popular not only the author, Maurice Brooks, brings deep sight about who's who in what's going on with the hot league, he's definately bring all these thing with a amusing style from his own pointview.

In his recent post, Maurice got a funny email about suggestions that

"how he shoud've writen the blog" .

Guess what? The only thing our blogger thought is: I'm Not Doing(any of)That !! haha...

I mean what could be more fun to see a word master plays with words?

March 25, 2008 -- While sorting through my weekly I-can't-believe-someone-actually-wrote-that-to-me e-mails, I ran across this pleasant one from Rob in Ohio:

“Mo, every week you try to tell us why so and so should be the MVP this season. You know what would be interesting, why don’t you tell us the reasons why so and so are not the MVP of the league this season.”

At first I thought, "Why the heck would I want to do that?"

The name of this column/blog/article is “Race to the MVP” not “Race to the Not Going to be MVP.”

What good would it do for me to point out that any chance Dirk Nowitzki had of repeating as MVP went out the window when the Mavs lost in the first round of the playoffs last season?

Or that word on the street is Manu Ginobili not Tim Duncan is the real heart and soul of the Spurs this season.

Or that Phoenix's Steve Nash is no longer even the first or second best point guard in the West.

Or that because Tracy McGrady led the Rockets on a 22-game winning streak doesn’t mean we can look past what he did the rest of the season.

Or that Utah’s Deron Williams might deserve to be the Player of the Month for March, but he has way too much ground to make up in the race.

Or that no matter how good his stats are, Paul Pierce won’t get any credit for Boston’s big season because he was there last year when the team stunk.

Or that Orlando’s Dwight Howard, who has been the best big man in the league this year, doesn’t make anyone around him better.

Or that not only is Kevin Garnett having a down year statistically by his standards, but he also gets to suit up with two other all-stars on a nightly basis.

Or that LeBron James is putting up big numbers in the East and that the Cavs simply don’t win enough.

Or that the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant didn’t shoot to the top of the MVP list until Pau Gasol arrived.

Or that the Hornets Chris Paul … isn’t Kobe Bryant.

No way I’m writing that, Rob.
